Intermediate First Aid (formally known as Standard First Aid) is a comprehensive course that builds on Emergency First Aid. In addition to the material covered in Emergency First Aid, candidates will learn how to treat head/neck injuries, soft tissue and musco-skeletal injuries and medical emergencies. While this course is traditionally delivered in a 2 day format, our Blended course is much more popular and is only 1 day in the classroom vs 2 days.

Yes of course! All of our certificates are issued by the Canadian Red Cross. The Canadian Red Cross’s first aid/CPR program is not only OHS approved in Alberta but one of the few programs approved nationally too.
Absolutely! First Aid Training Edmonton is happy to issue recertifications for any current/non-expired OHS approved first aid & CPR certificates. Please submit your prerequisite via your confirmation email.Â
