We provide mask fitting services in Calgary for a variety of masks, including N95, KN95, and more.
Each appointment takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
Our qualitative fit testing uses a taste solution to check mask fit, suitable for N95 masks. This type of test relies on the wearer’s sense of taste or smell to detect any leakage. It’s quick, requires minimal equipment, and delivers results based on the wearer’s subjective response (pass/fail).

We have the following N95 masks in stock: 3M 1860, 3M 1860s and 3M 1870+Â
It’s important you confirm what your organization uses & stocks prior to your appointment. If not, you must bring your own.
Training Certificate
Upon successful completion of the test, you will receive a qualitative fit testing valid for 2 years.
Prior to Appointment
Prerequisites
- No food or drink within 30 minutes of your appointment (this includes gum)
- No smoking or vaping within 30 minutes of your appointment
- Areas that contact the mask/seal must be clean-shaven Please come to your booking pre-shaved.
- Mask Provided: None
- Bring Your Own: A couple of mask options to be tested for
Booking Policy
Life happens – we get it. Your seat is reserved exclusively for you, and we guarantee all courses run as scheduled.
Rescheduling requests require:
• 72 hours’ notice (courses under $200)
• 7 days’ notice (courses over $200)
Bookings made within these notice periods are final and cannot be changed. With proper notice, we may assist with rescheduling, course upgrades, or transferring your seat to another participant.

All registrations are final sale and non-refundable.
FAQ
No. A fit test only qualifies you for the specific brand/make/model/size of the respirator with which an acceptable fit testing result was achieved.
You should wear only respirators of the same brand, model, and size that you wore during successful fit tests. Our mask testing in Calgarycan decipher the best masks for you.
Note: respirator sizing is not standardized across models or brands. For example, a medium in one model may not offer the same fit as the same or different manufacturer’s medium model.
